When you come to MuscleMind, you will receive services that are tailored to your specific needs. If you want to relax at the end of a stressful day, you can get a relaxing massage. If you have pain or stiffness in your neck and shoulders, you can receive bodywork to alleviate your pain. If you are having issues with anxiety, depression, relationships, feeling “stuck,” or improving fitness, coaching would be most helpful for you.

In all cases, a treatment plan will be created to help you with your specific needs. You and your therapist/coach can modify the treatment plan at any point during your services. All you need to do is let your therapist/coach know that your situation or needs have changed and your treatment plan can be changed to meet your current needs.

Bodywork & Massage

When you come for a massage, sometimes you may just want a relaxing massage. Swedish massage uses more gentle rubbing and kneading movements. This can help with circulation, relaxation, endorphin release, feelings of well-being, and sleep.

If you are experiencing painful or stiff muscles, you may need bodywork. Bodywork involves a combination of deep tissue, neuromuscular, sports, trigger point, and breathing techniques. It can also involve hydrotherapy (applying ice or a warm, damp towel). Bodywork can help relieve painful and stiff muscles, headaches, and joint pain. It can also improve range of motion, flexibility, and sleep.

Fitness & Life Coaching

Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, called a coach, supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.

Coaching sessions focus on the present and the future, but will also help you understand aspects of your past that may be blocking you from reaching your goals. A treatment plan, created by you and your coach will help you to: (1) define what is currently working and not working in your life; (2) set goals to make your life better; and, (3) achieve your goals by holding you accountable with regular checkups. Life/fitness coaching is an in-depth and detailed process and requires a more holistic and customized approach to meet your needs. Therefore, the number of sessions will vary from person to person.
